to begin with we live above a avis car rental (cool? you bet it is) and connected to that avis next door is a caribbean food store (yes, even cooler) which in turn has an apartment over that.

now for quite some time now we've had these ultra quiet neighbors, which was awesome, we hardly saw them and we NEVER talked. it was odd and a little strange but whatever. so one day the missus and i are just relaxing and then there's a knock at our door! so i go and answer and there's this group of people around our age asking about the apartment for rent, which they thought was ours. we told them wrong apartment and they went on their way. however their visit gave us some new information; we were gonna get new neighbors! we promptly started telling people we knew that we were going to get new neighbors. anywho, cut to our friends saying they wanted in! which was a surprise because we didn't think they would move to our area. but they did and they met our landlord (who in turn called us because he found out they were our friends and we gave them glowing reco's) and they were on their way!

now cut to the old neighbors moving out and now we have this grizzled english dude fixing the apartment next door(ugh they use to have carpet in the kitchen!)...however because that apartment is over the carribean place it had like one mouse or so and it was living over there, now the bastard has jump ship and is over here! so our cats are on full alert but they can't get the little bum! wish them luck!
